My first exposure to commercial medical device development. A combination product (new drug/new device) to assist in diagnosis of cardiac disease. I developed the closed-loop algorithm to titrate drug delivery based on ECG/Blood pressure measurements towards stress ischemia. Product received FDA approval (before combination product office was established) and CE mark, was commercialized but didn't achieve success when reimbursement for stress Dx was significantly reduced.
